· Spend the day in Hofu.
· Höfn or Höfn í Hornafirði is an Icelandic fishing town in the southeastern part of the country. It lies near Hornafjörður fjord. The town, the second largest in the southeastern part of Iceland, offers scenic views of Vatnajökull.
· Overnight: HI Hostel Hofn

DAY 9
· Breakfast this morning at your accommodations and check out.
· Transfer to Seyðisfjörður.
· You will be picked up and transferred to your accommodations at Skalánes.
o Your accommodation package includes snowshoes and specialized vehicles where necessary, groups are provided with a fully stocked kitchen based on menu selected by group leaders for own cooking, bed linens are ready to be made by the individual students and a range of activities with the group leaders like snowshoeing, hiking, boating, talks and “coursework”, full access to the lab equipment is included,
